PUMP TRACKS

The construction of pumptracks is a very specific field, as is the construction of skateparks. The earthworks of both projects are relatively similar, but in the case of pump tracks, it is important to choose a suitable running surface that will determine the future construction specifics. Options include concrete or asphalt pavements. Both materials have their advantages, but the choice should be based on the needs of the target group and the overall project solution.

In the case of concrete pumptracks, it is possible to combine the trail with a concrete skatepark into a single unit, i.e. a hybrid park. The smooth surface of the concrete allows riders to slide along the park at maximum speed, the concrete pumptrack is especially suitable for vehicles with small wheels (scooters, skateboards, roller skates, etc.). The track is also suitable for all types of vehicles with larger wheels.

The biggest advantage of asphalt paved pumptracks is the fast construction process. The paved bike path is suitable for use on wheels, roller skates, scooters, skateboards, etc., but different bikes (BMX, MTB, city bikes, running bikes, etc.) are the most suitable vehicles.

The advantage of plywood pumptracks is their favorable cost, optimal preparation process for installation and fast installation, incl. the possibility to move the trail. The plywood bike path is made of modules that can be easily disassembled and it is also possible to change the shape of the track.
